Narrative

As the bell rang on the last day of school feelings of excitement filled my body.  As I walked out of my last hour class and down the hall I could not help but to feel a mix of emotions.  I was ecstatic that the year was finally over and I could relax, but I was also a little sad that another year passed in the blink of an eye and I was that much closer to growing up.  I couldn't believe that my first year of high school was already over.  But I forgot all of this when I stepped outside and felt the warm summer sun on my face.
